Welcome To Walteria!Walteria Records, Since 1984
A One Of A Kind Record Company!
2009 is a special year for Walteria Records as it is our 25th year in the music recording business and try as we may, we are finally starting to succeed! Walteria Records was founded back in 1984, in St. Louis, Missouri under the name Blue Boat Records, and the name was changed in 1992 to Walteria Records in honor of our founder, Walt Winston.

Walteria Records' Recording Artist, Walt Winston has charted his 29th, and his 30th #1 hits with "My Oh My, I'm In Love" from his newest album "Happiness Alley". The single hit #1 on Beta Records, "Bubblegum" charts on June 21st, 2009! The other chart topping single "Some Friend Of Mine", from his album "The Sun Will Rise Again" also reached #1 on June 21st at Beta Records, "Power Folk" charts giving the album 11 #1 hit singles! Walt Winston is working on his latest new album to possibly be titled "Living In The Shadows" which is about his internet success and yet remains still undiscovered!. The new album could be out in the Fall of 2009!
On another note, Beta Records has listed Walt Winston as The Top Folk Pop artist on June 10th, as well as being listed as the #3 Folk Artist on Beta Records' list of Top 100 artists on the selected genres on its website! Congratulations Walt!
Walteria Records' Recording Artist Walt Winston has charted his 24th and 25th #1 Hit on May 31st, with his latest singles "Ferret In The Closet" from his newest album, "Happiness Alley", and "No More Gambling For Mother" from his album titled "Vices". "Ferret In The Closet" is #1 On Beta Records Bubblegum charts, and "No More Gambling For Mother" is #1 on Beta Records' Alternative Folk charts. A week ago Walt achieved his first Country #1 single when he topped Beta Records' Truck Driving Country Charts with that smash hit single, "Truck Drivers Aren't Supposed To Cry" giving Walt his 23rd #1 single and his 20th different #1 single tying the Beatles with 20 different singles hitting #1 but now, Walt has 25 #1 hits overall, which is the most #1 singles for any artist hailing from the St. Louis Area. The Walteria News Network asked Winston about the feat and being the Top artist ever coming out of the St. Louis area, and Winston had this to say about the feat for St. Louis area artists..."I'm shocked that I've had this much success, but I don't think I'll ever read about that in any St. Louis publications whatsoever." "It's nice that people are listening to the music, and I'm very thankful for that." "I hope to continue to top the Folk music scene with yet another brand new album." As of June 1st, 2009, Walt Winston now has 25 #1 hit singles.
20 #1 Hits!Walteria Records' recording artist, Walt Winston has scored his 22nd #1 hit with a song called "Moonshaker" This new #1 hit is historic as it is the first time, Walt Winston has performed a song with his son, Nick "Alpha" Andrews who is now a drummer who made his debut with this Folk Singing Father now a truck driver. Andrews is not yet a teenager but the future looks very bright for this young artist to be. Andrews looks up to his idol, Ringo Starr and plays a set of Ludwig drums like his idol. The father and son combo made their debut together on Walt Winston's new album titled "Vices". Look for the combo's work together on three new songs released as singles for Walt's upcoming album titled "Happiness Alley". The single is Walt's 50th Top Ten Hit Single, and 22nd #1 hit! Congratulations to Walt and Nick for their teamwork!
At Walteria, our philosophy in music is that every song should be available as a single from every single album of our artists, from Walt Winston, to his band past and present, known as The Waltles.
We at Walteria are working on a special new project and we'll have the details forthcoming as the year progresses.
